British Airways... Certainly one of the worst service in the sky!

My 11 hours Bristish Airways flight review

BA... I remember once upon a time when i took my first British Airways flight... It was excitement mixed with a prestige to fly with "The"company. The staff were after you either you were business or economic, it didn't matter, you were on a BA flight!
It took me a week to decide between Virgin and BA, and my old good impression motivated me to choose at last.

Here I am in a BA Boeing 747 who looks like a regular old 80's plane by the grey plastic used everywhere. The tiny bad quality touch screen for my entertainment doesn't impress me at all, my mobile phone has a better screen quality. BTW on my return flight mine didn't work (picture below). The headphone they gave me had a horrible sound thanks god I had my own! Anyway wont use any of them during my 11 hours flight!

Nobody asked me when I checked in what kind of food I would like not even online like on the online Virgin booking system. The Food was ok and I would had preferred to pay extra to have more, too small portions. It makes sense now I noticed people with bags of food, they must be regular BA flyers.
The service was poor, very poor, just one good example here, a pillow was on the floor in middle of the ail way and 3 stewards walked through without picking it up... After a while, finally a 4th steward removed it.
It says on my menu a tea break will be served... Nothing came so I had to find one waiter to get a coffee.

The "dated" staff barely smiled and if you need them you will find them reading magazines behind the blue curtains! The prestige is definitely gone.

The devil is in the details.

In my opinion, the only difference between BA and Easyjet nowadays (other than the price) is the seat color...

Finally I think it' s important when we give a review to always give some positive feedback to be fair to a statement, then here I go: we didn't crash.
