iOS7 the less is definitely less!
The only product I have from apple is an ipad and for the first time I was very excited about iOS7 because if you read the news it’s the new big thing from Apple. Well apparently since their other "new" Iphone 5 b or c or d (not sure anymore lol).
Anyway On a personal level I do not have an iphone as I always preferred Samsung and the freedom of their Operating system – no itunes to import my music or videos – just select and drag it – easy!
Back to our iOS7 story. So first of all, last night, in order to install it I had to delete 2.9GB of data… great isn't it so I had to delete all my Ebooks – knowledge is power – obviously not here.
It took 3 hours to have it installed on my ipad, the longer it took the more excited I was! If it takes that long it must be for a good reason right? Ok you know where I am going here…
I will summarize iOS7 by one word: white
Apple is known for its great design/innovation and since yesterday Apple will be known for a very simplistic visual, looking almost cheap!
Let s start with my notes… I used to love this cool design now with have a...hum... well a white page (great to save battery too) – white is white – big improvement isn't it?
New safari: white – it makes it hard for the eye to easily look your options
New Calendar: More white
The control bar… light white – it reminds me the one from Samsung tablet.
So to all Apple lovers, expect maybe an iOS7c soon with maybe a different colour for your notes or even a new lock screen! That would be fantastic isn't it!
I read a great article about Apple a few weeks ago and Apple is victim of its own success as we all expect the next big thing from them but unfortunately for the last couple of years the lack of real innovation worries shareholders.
Apple managed to create another buzz from an empty bubble and this is the great thing about this company in my opinion. however this cannot last for long at one stage the empty bubble will explode...
